Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the national Airlines of Bangladesh usually acknowledged as BIMAN. The main hub of Bangladesh Biman located at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka and the secondary hubs at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong and Osmani International Airport in SylhetBalaka Bhaban is the head headquarter of this airline placed in Kurmitola, Dhaka. This airline has air service agreements with 42 countries and runs international passengers with cargo services to Asia and Europe, as well as major domestic routes inside Bangladesh.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines started its journey immediately after the independence on 4th January 1972 with a DC-3 aircraft. Finally, on 7th March 1972, it took-off with domestic flights to Chittagong and Sylhet from Dhaka. The Boeing 707 aircraft merged the airline’s fleet and allowing Biman to introduce international flights. At the beginning of 1980 Biman had a fleet of 8 F27 and 5 Boeing 707 to serve both domestic and international destinations. It is certified as safe to fly in Europe by the European Aviation Safety Agency. Biman plans to fly the national flag to greater heights, with prodigious pride around the world.
